Sailing Practice
Sea sailing experience
Some people are lucky enough to own their own yacht or have friends who do. This gives them the necessary time on the water to practise all the techniques they learn about on their RYA courses. For the majority of people new to sailing, this important stage is missing in their journey from Day Skipper to confidently skippering a yacht on a flotilla holiday or bareboat charter.
The quick way to develop your practical sailing skills if you've completed a competent crew or day skipper practical course is through a sideways step onto the 2-day RYA keelboat courses. Read more

Our Yacht
Jeanneau Sun 2000
The Jeanneau Sun 2000 is a safe and sturdy small yacht. She's made of fibreglass & has a centreboard type swing keel and lifting rudder. This is important in Morecambe Bay because when the tide goes out, the boat sits down on the sand.
