RYA First Aid
Coping with accidents and illness
The RYA Basic First Aid course covers all the usual first aid topics, but from a boating perspective. It provides lots of opportunity for hands-on experience of CPR with our 'Resusci Anne' dummies. Knowing how to deal with cold water shock and hypothermia are also very important when you go boating in our UK waters. Do you know what to do if one of your crew falls overboard? Despite the serious nature of first aid, John aims to make the day a relaxed and enjoyable one for participants.
