Have you often dreamt about sailing but not known how to get started?
Stop dreaming - start sailing!
Discover for yourself how wonderful it is to escape from the hectic pace of life by simply catching the wind in the sails.
If you dream of sailing your own boat one day, start with Keelboat Level 1 and work your way through the RYA National Sailing Scheme.
Having first learnt the basics - keelboat levels 1, 2 & 3 - of how to sail a small yacht, you can easily transfer to the RYA Cruising Scheme and learn how to skipper a larger yacht. We can also teach you all you need to know about navigation and seamanship during our winter theory courses.
If you just want to try it out first, book a Fun Sail.
If you've already done some sailing and want to know what level to do next, book a 'Fun Sail'. We will then be able to provide individual advice on your next step.
"Lily is a super training boat. John is a positive and encouraging instructor who created a good learning environment. It was ok to make mistakes. Excellent instruction, both theory & practice. John made it very easy to understand. Very relaxed, no pressure."

Tailor-made sailing/tuition
Please get in touch if you would like to book private tuition, rates for this will obviously be reflected in the number of people involved. If you are just wanting more practise, you might consider a Fun Sail or perhaps a level 3 course?
We want to share our passion for sailing with as many people as we can, so if you can't find a date to suit you on the calendar, get in touch and we will do our best to try and accommodate you some other way. We might be able to adapt other keelboat courses to your preference.
New 2012 course dates & online booking available now. Courses run from April to September.
Note! All events will be scheduled around the time of high water, which changes each day. It is a weather dependent activity and will obviously need to be rescheduled in the event of adverse conditions.
