RYA Day Skipper Theory
6-day Intensive Course
As a comprehensive introduction to chartwork, meteorology, the "rules of the road" and the basics of seamanship, this course is ideally suited to those who have some practical experience of sailing and would now like to learn how to navigate.
The course also provides a solid foundation in the theory you will be expected to know as a candidate for a Day Skipper practical course.
We want you to get the most out of your course and feel well prepared for the assessment papers which form it's conclusion. The homework is a vital part of that preparation!

Cost: £275 (includes RYA course pack) but you will need to provide your own plotter and dividers (Portland course plotter is recommended).
Our smaller class sizes allow for more individual tuition than is generally possible at larger centres.
Venue: Morecambe & Heysham Yacht Club.
