I have received news from the skipper of 'Drum' that the Whitehaven trip cannot take place:"News travels fast eh!! Thanks for your concern and it appears it could have been a lot worse. She will no doubt be sailing before you know it, unfortunately no chance of sailing to Whitehaven I am afraid. I do hope we are able to welcome you onboard in the future though."

'Drum' was blown onto rocks, as shown in the photo below, but was hauled off very quickly by the blue vessel in the picture. She was not holed and divers were sent down to inspect & video the damage to hull, propeller and rudder.
The red fishing boat in the foreground is also adrift and heading for rocks.
When 'Drum' is repaired, we will definitely arrange another opportunity to sail on her.
